Introduction
The AIM platform automates the deployment of software products in various environments (clouds, virtual machines, physical servers). It is a sufficiently flexible system capable of adapting to each product individually.
My Role
My role — while an outstaff designer was starting this product from scratch, I was simultaneously working on two other products. This product was handed over to me when it was still in the design process, and I finalized some sections. Later, due to the heavy workload on my two permanent products, I transferred this product to a colleague for further development.
What I did:
- Formulated and tested hypotheses, identified problems with the product, user, and processes through in-depth interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Designed solutions in the form of scenarios, validations, edge cases, mockups, and prototypes.
- Conducted design reviews of the implementation using Dev Tools.
- Analyzed feedback and product metrics, and measured them during usability testing and observations.
- Improved and refined scenarios, comparing feedback and metrics for the "Before" and "After" states of a scenario.
- Incorporated design feedback from the team.
- Implemented new functionality.

Results
It is still too early to talk about results, as the product has just been released and is currently being tested only on internal company employees in Beta mode.
On the positive side — we received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from the first users, and based on research and feedback, the product is being refined day by day.
